Efficiently organising any workforce is key to optimisation and increased business productivity. However, with a large number of specialists across multiple geographic locations, some of which maybe in diverse regions, managing these field works can become much more complexed. Additional factors such ad hoc rescheduling and services related to infrastructure failures, and urgent upgrades can strain a business.

Telasys’ field services propose to ease the logistical burden and processes of field service planning, scheduling and reporting.

 

Integration and Installs

Telasys’ global integration services can get you up and running sooner. Whether it be at a customer site or data centre of your choosing, assisting with the simplest of installs to those more complicated network upgrades we’ve got you covered.

Newly deployed systems are setup with initial configuration as standard to facilitate clients with remote access, where this is not possible or you’d prefer our accredited engineers handle the configuration, handover will be carried out on completion of installation works.

Decommissioning and De-installs

Our experienced technicians can safely decommission and dismantle a wide array of telecoms equipment from a variety of sectors, while site analysis allows us to minimise disruption to on-going business over the course of the de-install.

Available as both a stand-alone service or included with a fully managed AR solution.

Repairs

We’ll mange all aspects of the repair, collecting the defective hardware from site and returning once we’ve reconditioned , refreshed, remanufactured back to OEM specification. Complete with Telasys’ 1-year repair warranty.

All repairs are on a return to service guarantee, so where repairs isn’t possible you wont be charged.

Network and Cabling Deployment

We can design, deploy, maintain and relocate voice, WIFI & data networks for business of all sizes. Whether it be only couple of ports to 100’s over multiple floors or sites running CAT5e, CAT6 or fibre cabling we can plan and provision minimising disruption to your business. All coupled with specialist installation and configure a wide variety of network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks and IP telephony solutions across a broad range of vendors.

Our Team

Field Engineer

Installation of pre-configured devices and basic hardware support, break fix and basic IMAC.

Senior Field Engineer

Ability to pre-configure and install devices to desk and carry out specific desk side configurations. Able to carry out fault finding on a wider range of equipment, installation and configuration of applications and operating systems.

Systems Engineer

Ability to carry out complex hardware fault finding and installation of Server based equipment into existing rack solutions / DC’s.

Senior Systems Engineer

Installation, troubleshooting and configuration of server and comms-based devices with at least 4 years field experience, with knowledge of project management disciplines. Able to install and configure base server operating systems and integrate devices.

Level 1 Engineer

Entry level grade for junior engineers. Working to CCNA/MCDST/A+ with field experience. Can handle basic fault-finding hardware/software.

Level 2 Engineer

CCNA/MCSA qualified with at least 2 years field experience. Can handle fault finding on a wider range of equipment, installation and configuration of OS.

Level 3 Engineer

At least CCNP/MCITP, MCSE level with over 4 years field experience, project management, complex fault finding, complex system, 3rd line with broad skill set. Leadership skills. IBM System X Certified.

Level 4 Engineer

CCNP, CCVP, CCSP, CCIP/MCITP, MCSE Consultant Level with 6+ years field experience. As above plus Team Leader, Pre Sales. Area of specialisation. Prepare and implement training. HP Blade Centre ASE. VMware VCP. Citrix CCA

Level 5 Engineer

CCNA/MCSA qualified with field experience and at least 2 years field experience. Can handle fault finding on a wider range of equipment, installation and configuration of OS. Dell DSP.

Level 6 Engineer

CCIE Voice, Security and Routing/Switching qualified. As above plus Team Leader, Pre Sales. Area of specialisation. Prepare and implement training.
